Workshop on World View and International Relations with Students at Queens University ( University of Charlotte)

Mr. Devesh Gupta conducted a workshop with the final year students of International Relations at Queen University discussing what forms the viewer, meaning of knowledge, conditioning, identification and division, conflict, peace, love and action.
Dr. Nathaniel was the host and the teacher in charge for the workshop and we'd like to express our deepest gratitude towards her for inviting our team to interact with the students.

Mr. Devesh Gupta was invited by the NSS wing of Keshav Mahaviyalaya Delhi University as the Guest Speaker on the occasion of World Day of Social Justice. Mr. Devesh spoke on ' justice' being an idea and whether this 'concept' of justice has solved our problems of society, has the idea of justice brought any change, whether idea of justice further divides people, what is the common factor which can bind people.

Emerge, in association with Sacred Community Project hosted a space where friends, families, students, teachers, entrepreneurs, sports-persons, social and political activists, musicians, seekers came together to Remember Baba Ram Dass and Discuss and Inquire into the Nature of Consciousness, Love, Self, Action, Service, Death, Flow and Time. Purpose of the event was to transcend the boundaries which our thought has created as identities, and to be able to love and in that loving, Remembering and Honoring Baba Ram Dass, and Neem Karoli Maharaj, and Humanity at large.

June 16's 45th Commemoration saw a set of different actions being taken by June 16 Development Foundation and its partner organisations towards Protecting, Preserving and Promoting the Values, Virtues, and Victories, History and Heritage of 1976 consciously leading to Peace, Youth Development, Active Youth Citizenry, Human Rights and Social Justice, and School and Education Support.

The event saw a moving tribute to the Life of Baba Ram Dass by Devesh Gupta, from Emerge, followed by an insightful conversation about Ram Dass, Neem Karoli Baba and Being Ram Dass. Rameshwar Das, Co-author of the Book, also read out a few passages from the book for the audience and gave an interesting peak from his perspective.

The Dais Global Voices Program 2020

The Dais Global Voices Program is an annual virtual dialogues platform to bring unheard voices & issues in the society to the forefront, launched by The Dais in July till November 2020 with several partners around the world and saw over 30 Global Dialogues on SDGs through Dialogues Series on Gender, Climate, Education, Peace, Inclusion. The program saw a direct participation of about 2000 attendees and a reach of about 2,00,000 views on Facebook Live and was awarded the 13th National Womens' Excellence Award 2020 in India for the Global Gender Dialogues.
Pandemos International Youth Conference 2021 and Pandemos Action Initiative

Pandemos International Youth Conference 2021 was hosted by Pandemos, Science Communication Organization born out of University of Toronto and youth researchers from McMaster University, Queens University, Columbia University and healthcare professionals across North America (UHN and University of Illinois), in partnership with Emerge, based out of India, KnowScience, a USA non nonprofit, science promotion organization, Victoria University Australia, Women in Science Society, Sydney University, Australia, and VU Stem Club, Australia. Â
Pandemos International Youth Conference is aimed at gathering youth from across the world to discuss topics of national and international interest pertaining to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and creating plans for action.
UN75 Children's Dialogue on Equity in Access to Primary Education and Challenges

The Dais in partnership with Emerge, The Mandate Project and Brasilindia hosted UN75 Children's Dialogue on Equity in Access to Primary Education and Challenges posed by Covid in developing nations. Led by Mr. Veraj Goel, a 14 year old student from Emerge, and at The Doon School, India led the dialogue is open for all to attend although we encourage you to encourage younger voices for the Forum.
iGem India Bio Summit 2020

iGem India In collaboration with The Dais India, EMERGE, BITSMUN Goa, and iGEM Manipal Biomachines, organized the first-ever national-level iGEM India BioSummit 2020 on 25th July 2020. This was a part of the All India iGEM Meet which was conducted on 31st July 2020 and 1st August 2020. The BioSummit focused on an interdisciplinary interaction for synthetic biology and its relevance cum impact value in the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations.
Gateway International School Model United Nations Conference

Gateway International School Haryana in Parternship with The Dais and Emerge organized Gateway International School Model United Nations Conference 2021 where Emerge Conducted Training Workshops on the understanding of Self, Nation, Foreign Policy and Roles of Procedure for the participants from 13 Schools, and further simulated UN Security Council at the Conference.

Children's SDG Forum was organized by Emerge and The Dais in Partnership with Fridays for Future International, UN75 Campaign .
Buddha Purnima Celebrations

The Dais & Partners hosted Buddha Purnima Celebration with Chanting, Music & Discussion on Early Life of Buddha & Lessons for Today on the 26th May In Association with The Eternal Sound, Kashi Yoga Festival, International Chandramauli Charitable Trust & Emerge
The session started with Ms. Jasmine Susan Jose from The Dais introducing Prabhu Ji and Sanj Hall who mesmerized everyone with chants for the auspicious day. This was followed by a talk by Sadhvi Divya Prabha about the early life of Buddha and the experiences which led him towards the path of enlightenment and how we can imbibe those lessons in our lives.
After the talk, Sanj Hall and Prabhu Ji led twenty minutes of chatting and music for all the attendees and viewers.
We are extremely grateful to all our speakers, artists and partners for such a memorable and enriching evening!
Model UN for a Model World : UN 75 + 25 Generation

Millions of young people around the world have been participating in "Model UN" sessions over the years, trying to simulate negotiations in the world forum, educate themselves about global issues and processes, and instil youthful energy and potential solutions to often age-old problems. To celebrate the 75th anniversary of the UN on the day world leaders are scheduled to do so, 21 September 2020, and with it observe the International Day of Peace also falling on the same day, this event will be bringing together aspiring young people with seasoned diplomats and international civil servants in a lively discussion about the model (i.e. exemplar) UN we need in order to get the model / better world we want. It will be a moment of co-creation of the UN75 experienced generation with the UN75+25 upcoming generation, united in human solidarity and hope, creative energy and positive ambition.

Model UN and Self : Workshop on understanding the nature and structure of Society with students at the Montfort School, New Delhi

Our Founder Mr. Devesh Gupta conducted a Workshop on the theme Model UN and Self : Understanding the Nature and structure of Society, with 85 students and 2 Faculty Members from Montfort School New Delhi .

The Session started with Mr. Devesh inquiring into the nature of the self, and of the society which we have made, the nature of power, the forms of civilization we have lived in for thousands of years, foreign policy.

The Session further inquired into the nature of identification, and as to how an idea divides.
